I’m a transit rider, a product manager, and a mom.
The oldest child of Colombian immigrants to New Jersey, I grew up riding NJ Transit and the New York City MTA. I’ve now spent more than half my life calling the East Bay home.
I’m a pedestrian, cyclist, and transit rider who believes that robust transit makes cities better. Car ownership should be a choice, not a requirement for being an independent adult in a viable urban area.
I’ve spent my career building digital products for global users, navigating high-complexity organizations and building adaptable, scalable solutions. I believe that I can bring those skills to AC Transit.
As a mom, I want my child to learn independence, and a dependable and safe bus transit system is a critical component of that independence. If we make AC Transit usable for our kids, we will create a better future for the Bay Area.
